Wednesday Prayer video

Wednesday 29th June

Following last week's PCI General Assembly, here's a short video that captures a brief snapshot of what took place as well as three videos made for the theme "GraceWorks" in which three people tell their stories of God at work in their lives. Perhaps these videos will inspire us in prayers of praise and thankfulness to God and for his church; and for people we know.

Wednesday 1st June

As we find ourselves between Ascension Day and Pentecost, we remember that Jesus sits on the throne over all nations and has poured out his Spirit so people from every tribe and tongue may call on the name of the Lord and be saved. Below are four short "Digital Dispatch" updates from PCI Global Mission workers (and more are avaliable here www.presbyterianireland.org/Resources/Videos/Digital-Dispatches.aspx )to inspire and encourage us in prayer. The update from Romania inevitably also ties in with the situation in Ukraine.

Wednesday 4th May: Prayer for upcoming elections

Wednesday 30th March: Prayer for Ukraine

Below is another video from European Mission Fellowship, one of a number of good places to find information and prayer points for the situation in and around Ukraine. Here is an interview with a Pastor Volodia Kostyshyn in Turnopil from 24th March with some prayer points.

Wednesday 16th March: Prayer for Ukraine

We continue to pray for Ukraine. Below is a video from European Mission Fellowship of a Moldovan pastor, Mihai Chisari, talking about the situation at the end of last week. It is honest and insightful and highlights a number of areas for prayer. The Euorpean Mission Fellowship is one of a number of good places to find information and prayer points for the situation in and around Ukraine. Next week (Weds 23rd March, 7.30pm) we'll be in-person at SRPC united in prayer with our neighbours from Knockbreda Parish. Come and join us.

Ash Wednesday - 2nd March 2022: Praying for Ukraine

16th February 2022: Learning and Praying through Psalm 23

2nd February 2022: Open Doors has recently launched its "World Watch List 2022", an annual ranking of countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution. Do watch the video below as an introduction to the top 10; and then follow this link - www.opendoorsuk.org/persecution/world-watch-list.  Here you can find out more information about a country or two and then specifically pray for Christians in those places.

19th January 2022: We're delighted that the Timothy family are now back in NI for a few months - please pray for them as they settle in, enjoy seeing family and get some rest - along with the Mwangi family who are also here at the moment.

Alongside this, you might like to watch these videos from PCI's "Digital Dispatches" and pray for church planting work happening in Portugal in partnership with PCI. The first ia a longer overview of the ministry and situation from 2021; the second is a briefer update from this month...
